I adore this series, and love, love, love this book!
The plot is excellent
The beginning is fantastic!
The middle is alluring!
The crescendo is magnificent!
The ending is not what I had in mind, but an intriguing ending for the following books to build upon!
The characters are unique in many ways. They also all have a lot of room to grow and evolve into the best characters they can be.
The world Maas has created is amazing and written in a way that leaves the reader with lots of questions, but also with answers to a few of them. The remaining questions will be answered throughout the following books, I’m sure (update; yes, answers will be forthcoming in the following books). It leaves you excited to read on!
The language used works well with the book, its contents and its audience(s).
The themes are classic yet modern, in an amazing twist/blend kind of way.
I highly recommended reading this book if you’re looking for a great fantasy book with a kick-ass heroine and a series packed with twists and turns that will not let you down.
